I actually like James Ford but I see no future for him here.

This team would be promising, though may take a while to develop!

1 Craven / new signing (is he going to play at 1 or half-back?)
2 - Flynn
3 - Tyrer
4 - New signing / Ford
5 - Gaskell
Halves - Thackeray and I'anson. Gore / Craven to get blooded in. Perhaps have a half on the bench and shove I'anson into the back row.
8 - Heckenburg
9 - New signing
10 - Pickersgill
11 - Allen (C)
12 - Kavanagh
13 - Gerrard (VC)

14 - Netherton (though I think it's likely he'll start with Coyle off the bench)
15 - Leuleuai
16 - K Haggerty
17 - New signing ( prop)

Looking ok the team if we buy a decent prop, and Ropati rather than Ford.Coyle is a better hooker than Netherton unless he pulls his finger out.I,Anson can also play loose forward, so we may still sign another halfback.But with the youngsters such as Craven,Gore,Alex Brown,Alex Gerrard, and Tom Kelly, we will have a decent squad.Rumours are that Bracek is coming to Widnes.
