A few months ago we also lost a final which we were comfortably winning. We had all spent a whole day drinking round Blackpool before the game and continued to do so after the game. We too were all on the same carpark next to the ground but we didn't wait to ambush Batley fans. Rugby League may not be the shiny utopia that the RFL say it is and sometime scuffles happen but this was downright thuggery. I have never heard of this happening at a game before so why would special precautons be made when not normally required. I hope whoever did this is caught as this is entirely their fault not anyone elses.

Last years GF there was no trouble AT ALL, in fact there were a few dozen fax fans enjoying the game with Sparrow fans in the South stand, I think there would have been no possibility of that this yr.

Also the banter outside the Lord Admiral pub (the one nr the red lion) was non existant, it was brought down a level by the Fev fans, swearing, intimidating and just generally hostile. I took myslef and the lad into the ground earlier than planned to avoid further as trouble was brewing. Again non of this last yr.

Common denominator = Fev fans

Worse fans in our league by a country mile!

Sharing the coach park with Fev fans, Crazy!!!!

my mate told me earlier he found a video on youtube saying champions lol so he watched it and it was a group who took dave to the floor and 3 people wearing flat caps stomped on his head now i am only telling you what i was told and he said he sent to the cops and the video is no longer on youtube

There does seem to be an issue in that area. I have seen trouble on more occasions at Cas & Fev (nothing more than scuffles I mght add) than anywhere else & for all of our speccies who went to the Normanton cup game - I'm sure you all remember that one.

I hope they throw away the bloody key, scumbags and that Dave is their in his champions shirt to see it! Unbelievable and the fact as mentioned in regards Blackpool post, the fact some people think this is a policing issue and 'was always going to happen' sickens me more tbh!

last year when went to fev and beat them on sky i was threatened by a group of "fev" fans who followed me out of the ground thankfully was a large group of us so nothing happened and if i remember rightly they also started on someone who ran a supporters coach to the game until someone stepped in and told them to clear off and now this its getting stupid
