We do need to bulk up somewhat and yes experience is vital in any successful side.

I think as with any large scale organisation we have our collection of disagreeable people and as there is a much bigger membership on the TIW board there are more moaners there. Unfortunately, these people are as always the loudest of the lot, insisting on getting their miserable negative opinions on everything heard loudest of all.

If we sign Darren Lockyer, we're throwing our money away on over the hill players instead of investing in youth which is so much easier than it sounds. If we invest in youth, we're not signing enough big names. There is no pleasing them and there never will be. The trick is to show them up for what they are.

Terry o'connor was talking to 2 players from wigan i have forgot the 2nd lads name i will check with a mate off mine. Liam as not left wigan for more MONEY.


Stu wilkinson left your club 2 weeks ago and is looking for new job.

Only just read your threads. You posted on another that Widnes had signed Liam Thompson even though Wigan had offered him a contract.

Liam is a relative of mine and I can confirm that they did offer him a new contract but at reduced wages. He decided to have a look around to see what else was on offer. Salford and Widnes were both interested and he spoke to Terry o'Connor last Friday. He decided that his chances of first team appearances would be better at the Vikings than at Salford or Wigan. The Vikings recent track record with both their own young players and also Wigan's on dual registration is very impressive. I hope more of Wigan's youngsters are allowed to sign for the Vikings, judging by Liam Farrell's improvement this season!!
