So that's why you quoted the Widnes part especially?

I don't get the focus on making A profit after a loss... Is that not normal? You wipe out any remaining debt make the changes you want and then if business plan is correct you reap the benefits the next year? Or are we saying any team loosing money should carry on to do do? People don't seem to realise SO'C is running a business unlike other owners who just spend hard cash leaving no infrastructure!

No you see it's us Widnes fans that don't get it! We get the highest crowds in the league have some big sponsors and a council 110% behind the club but without SO'C we wouldn't be sustainable in any form. However every club in our league including those who spend massively on first team reckon they do it fine with no debt and no major backer

The 1m debt was when Ste Vaughaun the crook was at the club.Accounts written off and a new Tax year could be started afterwards.We won the Rail final in 2009 and 2010 we got to the Final.This is gate receipts through the games ,unlike your team not getting through the group stages.We have more fans than Fax and maybe more merchandise sales aswell.Stobart spotters maybe buying merchandise because got Stobarts on their gear. Do you know what amounts of money the sponsors pay such as Haltoncouncil ,jst,Hattons Solictors,Stobarts,3g Modal,LandRover,Myler estates etc?This is what confuses me about people to be honest.Even VIQI help for funding academy and players in the first team.Seems to me that everyone is an accountant, and to be honest it is jealousy.

Nat Troll_Aholic is nothing more than a pathetic and envious troll who enjoys nothing more than trawling other clubs message boards for dirt then going back to the other clubs message board to 'report' on what has been said. He knows nothing about the game and has demonstrated time and again that he knows nothing about our club and it's finances. He is a parasite, deliberately trying to stir things up and a disgrace to the decent 'fax fans that post on here.

I think Nat is under the illusion that our accounts posted for 2008 - 2009 somehow doesn't include our 2009 NRC win and that our 'lowered attendance' and lack of silverware contribute (from this financial year) somehow contribute to the figures we recently posted (from the last financial year).

Vic i must admit i used to get wound up, but now i laugh at it all.We are the best placed team in the Championship with the RFL criteria.So look forward to our application been one of the best. I am taking time off on the 31st March 2011,to hopefully party at the club.

Do we know it's that date yet? AFAIK it's simply still the same old vague 'sometime in March'.
