Your first point is well just stupid tbh and completely different to ours.

Your second however is spot on, so if you could of achieved that, why shouldn't Widnes aim to do the same?

I must have dreamt this then , but I was under the impression Featherstone won the league. You won an end of season play off comp.

I know which one I'd go with.

It is ludicrous to suggest that your first team squad will form the basis of your Super League bid. The majority of those players would not make it into a Super League team.

In any case, there's a number of academy lads who have been promoted to our first team and have staked regular starting places. Therefore our first team is indeed playing a role in our franchise bid and demonstrating that our focus is firmly on developing our own talent for the long term future. Nothing you can say about Halifax can rival that.

Perhaps if you stopped sucking on sour grapes, your opinions might not be so confused and deluded.

To be fair Fax & Barrow have it spot on... The RFL introduce a system part designed to stop sides spending big in a short period to get promoted and then have little to back it up long term... Why I am 100% confident in our bid

You should be 100% confident in your bid, especially after Wakefield's bad news on Tuesday. Surely they are dead in the water now as far as SL in 2012 goes?
Just be careful though and don't get over condfident, it's the RFL you are dealing with.

Perhaps you should start by providing three or four players to the England Academy squad. Something which you supposed top quality yoof setup failed to do this year.

4 widnes u/18's just been selected for upcoming england games against wales and france.....top quality youth set up seems to be working nat dont ya think
