Fair play to Leyth beating Salford - quite obviously gonna steamroller this league

Salford fan on the VT is blaming the defeat on 7 (seven) overseas players still being in Oz .

I know. Farcical. 7 overseas players when some have to make do with 1 and they're whinging that they can't do with what they've got against a side with a fraction of the salary cap. Well done to Leigh for beating them.

And that's not mentioning the fact that Nero played, so that's 8 overseas players. Contrast with us not even having a Yorkshireman in our side yesterday, never mind overseas!

As most SL Vs Champ challenge cup games end in a cricket score bar the odd exception why don't we make the SL clubs play by our 1 quota spot rule? Gives more kids a run out and closer more exciting games

Excellent idea...really excellent! See what happens then! Why are SL teams worried about finishing bottom anyway...they can't go down!!!

Finishing bottom next year or not might just be the difference maker for teams wishing to stay in SL. It's harder to kick out a team nestled in the top six even with a bunch of foreigners than it is someone adrift in the lower reaches of the league. Given a number of teams probably lied about their stadium, and have not achieved what they said they would, there are a number in trouble and they wont all go down.
