I think we all know that both Wakefield and Castleford have been stringing the RFL along for some years regarding their facilities. I appreciate that it isn't easy but when you're dealing with teams being kept out of the top flight indefinitely you can't be too precious about the difficulties of those experienced in the top flight.

I wont believe any stadium of theirs until they've built it. They've made so many promises and press releases and drawings that the impact made by any such things has long since been lost. We're not dealing with serious proposals half the time.

When done? Mate they haven't got any of the funding for it last I heard. It's not happening. Their arguments about it, like I've already said elsewhere, are like two people arguing over which of their imaginary friends has the best hairstyle.

How are clubs planning new or redeveloped stadia going to be assessed?

New stadiums or redevelopments of existing stadiums will only be taken into account if the RFL is satisfied that the stadium will be open or the redevelopment finished by the start of the 2012 season.

You have more chance of platting fog and considering this is what the Independant Board had to say on your bid last time.

Whilst well maintained, the ground is limited and old fashioned. However, the club recognise this and has relatively advanced plans for a new stadium. Financial projections are based on the new ground, although there is evidence of a Plan B. The club is well managed financially with limited external borrowings and/or shareholder funds. The club has produced a holistic commercial plan, has a record of commercial achievement and achieves strong support even when relegated. The club’s reasonable playing infrastructure has been hurt by the yo-yo-ing between Super League and National League. The club has maintained youth pathways but has not always been able to secure the best local talent

So you got in last time based on having advanced plans that have gone nowhere, You Financial projections have been based on 3 years of lies as you have not gone into this reletively advanced stadium.

People think that, because it is, and it was far superior even before our new East Stand was built.

Will you still build your new ground when you are in the Championship for 3 years?
