all i know is facts..he was in charge when we played a player already cup tied, thinkthat cost us alot of money, we finished 3rd bottom under his leadership, we arguably hired the cheapest most boring coach in superleague history, he was in charge when we had a drugs cheat amongst our players and he coverd it up, he fell on his sword.... what more can i say than that...... dont you find it ironic that under his time at fc, we were a complete laughing stock to rugby league????
Hull have always underachieved with or without rule, I think most of its down to coaching if im honest, this bloke you have now seems to be on the right track but your past coaches havent been up to much imo.

Obviously a bit of a cloud around Rule but Cullen will run are RL admin side (players etc) which should allow Rule to focus on the marketing / commercial side which from what are FC fans seem to indicate is definitely his most successful area?
whos the idiot? you or me, seeing as rule not only allowed a drug cheat to play for fc, knowing full well that he was guilty as sin, he also lied to the u anti-doping about it all, not to forget his allowance to sign jamie thackeray and play him when his was already cup-tied for rochdale i think it was... the list is endless, comlpete farce of a ceo in my opinion, youve only got to look at the strides forward weve made isnce ap took over to see what a proper ceo does...... with creit to rule though, off the field we was a succes in terms of selling mechandise, wereas we struggled badly on the field down to lack of investment, bad management and terrible signings..... all of which would not happen under our current regime.....
So what is it that Tony Sutton is doing so well that Rule wasn't? Crowds figures? Profits? Merchandise sales? All of which Rule did very well, even more so when you see how little Hetherington put into the club and how much she took out.
Rule was obviously very stupid to cover up the whole Gleeson thing, it should have been thanks and goodbye as soon as he tested positive a second time, and I think if he had done he'd still have a job at Hull FC.
At Hull he was Kath Hetherington's little yes man, he had no say on recruitment or who the coach of our club was, he wasn't the cause of our demise from the 2006 GF. He increased season ticket sales year on year and the marketing and communications from the club improved vastly during his tenure.
Rubbish, gates fell and the club was never further removed from the fans. He lied and raped the club. He took the club 5years + backwards

Rule did some good stuff at FC on the admin and marketing side, FC gave him his big chance but always under the puppet strings of Kath Hetherington, yep he made some big mistakes and rightly had to take his punishment. Widnes are not idiots they will have asked many searching questions during his job interview, and in any case what happened to "everyone deserves a 2nd Chance"?? Free of the shackles of his previous puppet mistress at FC I expect Rule to be a sucess at Widnes.
