Paramattas last press press release said if Salford want hock they will have to buy out his contract with us. Now tell me why would they release a statement like that if there was anything in it.
Admittedly I have missed this, the only thing I could find relating to this was two lines on the scum website by far from reputable Dave Parker. Nothing on the Eels website and seemingly not a lot else on Google in the past week.

Yep, pretty much what I'm getting at. There's no doubt he's an absolute wow of a player but the fact he lives on the edge means he does thing which will see him out of the side more often than he should
Well Salford have parted with the readies for Whitehead so you would never rule anything out. I'm sure its only small change to Dr Koukash and no doubt he feels he will have to back up some of his claims with actual signings. Buying a team is not an easy thing to do these days with salary caps, but there are plenty of clubs who would welcome a cash injection by way of a decent transfer fee!
I would have thought though that Hock might fancy at least giving the NRL a go before its too late!
I noticed that in the Wire / Wigan game, a player (Westwood?) pushed the ref out of the way to make a tackle - the incident was commented on as being "in order."
Had it been Hock, he'd probably have been given a 10 match ban.
What gets me with constant Wire comparisons (for a few clubs and even our own fans). Is they didn't go from top to bottom in one off season. It took YEARS and included numerous factors.
I also guess that's the jist of the post towards Salford. Gradual building with the odd big buy... Sounds familiar but they were also doing do on the back of half decry gates with bigger potential once they moved.
Yep, it didn't happen overnight for Warrington and their crowds were ok , when they moved into the HJ things really started to pick up. Problem with Salford is their crowds are pretty poor so it will cost Koukash mega money to make them anything like challengers. I know this season is a write off for them but the city should be buzzing and it must be a pretty exciting time for the Salford fans but where are they??
