Salford fined £10,000 for having an extra man on the field for thirty seconds plus 2 points deducted - Widnes bring the game into disrepute TWICE yet ...................................

The Vikings have to get their house in order now.

There is no "away" end at the HJ. Warrington fans have always bought tickets for the West stand (even when dare I say the Hull clubs come down!"). The Warrington fans were moved "for their own safety", which in itself isn't good. But its the first time I ever remember seeing police have to pull out batons.

It's like that at Saints but there are certain fixtures whereby we cannot sell tickets there to home fans.

Just something for the idiots who have attached themselves to Widnes to think about - if they are actually capable of rational thought;

The RFL has stated that SL will reduce to 12 teams. They did not say it would be the bottom 2 clubs who are relegated to the lower divisions. That infers they will decide who stays and who goes, regardless of any on-field performance.

So, you're sat in Red Hall, thinking of who to get rid of and 'voila', one club's name keeps popping up in police/stewards reports. Easy job ....... Widnes kicked out, and all the hard work done on & off the field by people who genuinely have the clubs wellbeing at heart, ruined by morons. And remember, the next tier down will almost certainly be 'SL2', so no guarantee of being 'welcomed' into that. They could end up going down to the 3rd tier (ask Crusaders about that), never to be seen again!

Widnes (and some others) have a choice - sort out and remove the idiots now (they're not exactly hard to spot), or cease to be part of SL.

Well done Widnes, about time too. Why did it take so long? Seeing trouble from a small minority week in, week out is a real problem. It is damaging for the club of Widnes, their genuine and good natured fans and the game in general.

These banning orders and convictions can't come quick enough. Violent thugs who ruin it for the rest of the RL supporting world are a disgrace who make me feel sick.
