Ta for an entertaining evening out9despite not winning 10 grand ) , myself and my lad enjoyed our visit to yours today.
Gateshead were supurb until the introduction of Ian Morrission who`s enthusiasm seem to kick start your team into action.
All in all a great game for neuterals.
Btw enjoyed the young lady singing

Hartley wasn't without blame in the aforementioned incident, as he had a bit of a dig at the Gateshead player and was pulling him back from rejoining play. Having said that, the Gateshead player's actions were inexcuable but it shouldn't have even reached that stage as the tackle was already completed in my mind and therefore should have been a Thunder penalty.

Really enjoyable game for the neutral tonight, think you just about deserved it, purely because of your comeback, but Smith was shown up big time by Henderson in the first half - are his days numbered?

This is the first game I've really enjoyed this season. I actually walked out of the ground with a smile on my face.

Thank god Morrison's back. His enthusiasm and aggression noticeably lifted the side. I still think we need a bit more weight in the pack to compete against the top sides, but that performance was very encouraging. The crowd, the atmosphere and the reaction of the players and coach at the end of the game is a massive lift to us all.

Kevin Penny looks like he could be devastating, with the right kind of service, too.

Just shows though from a neutrals perspective how much more interest there is in our club when the offer is there on a plate.. I'm sure there were a number of Saints and probably a few Wigan fans there too.

AWESOME 2ND half

its starting to show what cullen is actually doing, my other half made the point of cullen should spend more time on the sidelines than in his box

We had a brief chat with penny he was OVER THE MOON!! thats what he said i told him if we had 13 of his commitment we will kick ars e

even when we was gettin hammered he was foaming at the mouth screaming and gee in up the players. And that try was unreal, the lad had 10 metres on him. I wish we can sign him permanantly. Doran was strong and had excellent presence all match morrison was fantastic and webster is starting to look like he can order a line out and take one on. But THE ONE who stood out for me was thackery, he was awesome!.

All we need to do is get rid of wildborne and smith and we will be a force again because IMO they are the trouble link and i have been told by a stone wall reliable source the problem is with SMITH AND CULLEN.

Yes we did concede 30 to Gateshead but if you look it from another point of view we then scored 46 points to 6. If we had started off like that you would have been looking at probably 60 or 70 points.

Did anyone else think there was more than 5200 there last night. I remember when we were in SL and we played Wakefield on SKY and the crowd was announced as arouund 5200. IMO there was alot more there than the Wakefield game last night.

In fairness, there were only two stands open and there was a lot of space in both the North and South Stands towards the East (I know this as I sat in both stands last night and therefore counted twice on the attendance )
