police have analyzed the video and seen pretty much the same as me.
they believe it to be atleast 2 featherstone "fans", (i however saw 4-5 people) i state people as not 1 person had a featherstone shirt on. most in Jeans and jackets 2 had flat caps on.
the video starts at the guy (dunno if it is David) is falling to the floor with somebody laughing and joking in the background with a deep Yorkshire accent.
the video bounces as if they have put the camera in a pocket and run and then cuts out.
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
Last years GF there was no trouble AT ALL, in fact there were a few dozen fax fans enjoying the game with Sparrow fans in the South stand, I think there would have been no possibility of that this yr.
Also the banter outside the Lord Admiral pub (the one nr the red lion) was non existant, it was brought down a level by the Fev fans, swearing, intimidating and just generally hostile. I took myslef and the lad into the ground earlier than planned to avoid further as trouble was brewing. Again non of this last yr.
Common denominator = Fev fans
Worse fans in our league by a country mile!
Sharing the coach park with Fev fans, Crazy!!!!
It seems that it was a Halifax fan, which started the fire in the Ladies toilets.
Look, these things happen occasionally. When it does, we tend to play all the trouble back in your mind that you may have had with the fans of the offending club. This can give you a tainted view of that clubs’ fans as a result.
Fev fans are not scum, but we now know that a few are. Halifax fans are not arsonists, but it appears that one might be. Ergo, a few fans from each club have ruined the day for the 99.9% of the rest, who were all there for the right reasons. That is not a dig at either set of supporters, but praise for the majority of fans from both clubs.
As has been pointed out by ‘Frothing Viking’, we were in a similar position at Blackpool; on the mickey all day and sharing the same car park. I didn’t see a single bit of trouble. I have no doubt that both clubs will have fans quite capable of causing trouble, fortunately, just like last years GF between you and Barrow, they didn’t make an appearance.
If Rovers have a major problem with their fans, it will become apparent over the next few years, should they continue to be successful. At this moment, I wouldn’t rush into any firm judgment.

A few months ago we also lost a final which we were comfortably winning. We had all spent a whole day drinking round Blackpool before the game and continued to do so after the game. We too were all on the same carpark next to the ground but we didn't wait to ambush Batley fans. Rugby League may not be the shiny utopia that the RFL say it is and sometime scuffles happen but this was downright thuggery. I have never heard of this happening at a game before so why would special precautons be made when not normally required. I hope whoever did this is caught as this is entirely their fault not anyone elses.
I take it your a new Widnes fan then, as Widnes along with Warrington were the worst in the game a few years ago

Not to paint them all but in recent years only trouble from Championship clubs gas spelled from Fev, only side to cause bother at our joint etc. Whether it is bangwaggon or not the CLUB needs to act rather than hide behind 2 pint pitchers & policing!
You seem suicidal because McNamara hasn't picked your precious Mickey Mac, who's better than Roby, and Darryl 'Meninga' Goulding who makes Jamie Lyon look like an amateur.
there is very little point to rovers fans coming on here and crying about us talking rubbish on this subject, because most if not all of us have first hand experience of the seemingly higher than average number of idiots they have 'supporting' them. three times in my life i have experienced trouble at rugby league games, two at fev and once last year when we played fev at our place. on one occasion at fev, a gang of at least a dozen verbally abused my then girlfriend and one of them (a girl) slapped my girlfriend. of course, when me and the widnes massive then got stuck in they suddenly became feeble weaklings, but could run like usain bolt. At our place last year, i saw 7 Fev 'fans' ejected from the ground, and they were just the ones sitting within a few rows of me. a nice guy from Fev even said to me as this was going on, 'they all got kicked out at halifax last week' this needs to be sorted. simple as, there is a problem with certain fev fans and has been for many years. get it sorted and stop looking for excuses.
