He really does.... Widnes fans have alot to thank him for. I hope you do what he asks and pack your ground out on a regular basis.

The fans go already it would be the clubs job to advertise and get more people in

I think it was pepe who said on another thread they are going to be doing that with quite a big radius

1st year a few batterings but not bottom finish probably 12th, journey men Aussies and current SL fringe players signing

2nd year couple of marquee signings 9th or 10th

3rd year settled squad competing with all but the highest tier

4th year a seriously competitive team

I think the main reason the RFL have let Widnes in is because they see the growth potential of Widnes compared to the rest, SOC's backing should see you become a good side in a relatively short time.
I for one hope that does happen, there are no negatives with a club spending at full cap and a competitive team benefits everyone.

Well done guys i'm actually made up for you with all the crap you've had to go through i look forward to our competitive tussles in the future and will take great joy in the 1st game when we give you a good Superleague welcome, again well done guys, but the niceties will end after this post (cos you iz ze enemy)

I’d take that scenario. But I think it may take a little longer before we’re world beaters again. In the words of Paul Cullen in a recent press release:

“The Warrington revival started in 2002 and now they are the best team in Super League – that is how long it takes.”

And that’s probably about right. We will hopefully be very competitive before getting to the dizzy heights Warrington are now at though.

My opinion on why it took so long is more the coaching side than the playing side, we've had teams that should have been competitive but just weren't.

The warrington revival started when Cullen got the boot.... Harsh but true..... Actually it started when lowes was relieved of duty.
