What are you mad 1905 its his squad he's signed these lot for superleague Betts never coached at this level apart from temp wigan job,! I do blame SOC to cause got to start on good footings and was plenty of better coaches out there !

Noble , Kear ...Behave yourselves , we dont want a conveyer belt of coaches nobody else wants.
Its time to lower expectations , enjoy the surprise wins and see where we are at the end of the 1st season.

so your happy with Betts ! look how noble turned wigan round from near bottom to play offs , its not expectations its a professional sport if players can not tackle they shouldnt be playing the sport for one no disrepect Betts signed these players and if he cant get the basic rights he shouldnt be coaching at this level, A good coach would atleast get the basics right TACKLING its not the Losing its how ther losing !

First year in SL, what did you expect? Our first year in the comp we were regularly getting these kinds of hammerings (I remember Burrow passing to another player to score a try when they were both in the in-goal).
The following year we made the CC final.
Yes, you could do a bit less badly if you bought in a bunch of journeymen and played to come 13th, but what is that worth. Develop the squad, develop the side and keep the faith.

Don't get me wrong I'd be pro coach change as well but these points can't just be ignored. Unfortunately it was clear pretty early we were going to take a few beatings so just put a lot of focus on performing at home and enjoying the wins when they come. We have two more than a lot thought we would just a month ago

I'd say im happier with betts than i have been with any other coach we've had since super league.
Noble was given a blank chequebook at wigan and told to ignore the salary cap , if that was widnes the r.l would probably kick us out , i think the game has changed a lot even in the 10 or so years since nobby was good at bradford. If it was say Graham murray or a top aussie coach in the pipeline i'd say go for it but Nobby et al , no thanks stick with betts for now. I believe he will get the basics better covered in a couple of months , and he has signed better players than ive seen at widnes for a good few years.

Dennis Bettts' record is diabolical compared to every other coach we've had since then.

What about what Nobby did with the Crusaders?

He took them over in mid October 2009, long after most players had been snapped up. They were even further behind the 8 ball than we were, but he managed to put together a team, that was not only competitive, but actually finished in the top 8. I'm sorry, but Betts can't hold a candle to the man.

Im with you on this one pepe ask the squad who theyd prefair bet 90% would say nobby and possibly others would prefair betts cause they know they wouldnt be there if nobby was there any way
