Blacky is a very good championship player but isn't good enough for anything but the bottom teams in SL and Widnes should (and will) be aiming higher than that. Its my opinion, if you disagree then fine.

Yere has a rep for the big hits but also has a tendency to shoot out of the line leaving a gap, which Leigh exposed time after time after time when we smashed them a month or so back, and his handling is hit and miss. Can't see him going to SL but I could easily be wrong... as I say just my opinion.



Also I agree with the post above Aaron Heremaia is awesome So stay away from him vikings

No chance of the majority of players on that list. And Heremaia isn't a play maker...we made that mistake.

Widnes' first 17 have to be SL quality.
That cuts the home grown 8 down to numbers 18-25 of the 25 man squad.
The younger players Widnes have are for the medium and long term.
They will come through with the help of senior players.
Super League is an experienced players game.
The idea of Widnes having eight home grown players in the first 17 is not on.
Widnes first priority is a competitive team whatever the make up.

I added 'playmaker' just for Heremeia as other half backs, does a good job coming out from dummy half!
