Another reason why other 'Widnes' lads might choose to sign for another local club is money, we don't have the funding available like the clubs you mentioned. Listen pal. I'm not ignorant but I was in a meeting with Widnes regarding this 3 weeks ago and they basically told me they haven't done enough in local youth development and admitted they need to do better. I must admit I was pretty alarmed at the stuff they was saying regarding youth but I'm not going to into all the details as the meeting was exclusive. I'm not a Widnes lad but I'm told that the playing fields in Widnes are now all football pitches |
