Admittedly We did bank a lot of success without the money to back it up consistently, but would we swap those years to have been in the top flight all this time? Would we love! Widnes were the best club side in the world, the last club side to beat the Aussies, and the original cup kings, so until you have achieved all of that go away and give yer head a wobble.

And as for our pathetic turnout against York last week, I recall similar figures at Wilderspool not too long ago, not bad eh, for a town of 200,000 + You know, before Warrington general public realised you had a rugby league team. Anyway I am bored with you, so go and take yer dirty HENleys T shirt somewere else.

Widnes will be the kings again pal.

I don't why Widnes fans think they can even compare to us,let alone be a better club than us.

How many Challenge Cups have you won of late?

You win Northern Rail Cups. We win Challenge Cups.

You get 4,000 crowds. We get 11,000 crowds.

We're 3rd in Super League. You're mid table in the 2nd tier.

We're a big club. You used to be a big club.

Our success of late is true. Your success of the late 80s-early 90s was down to acquiring players you couldn't afford.

Why Cheshire's other club think they are better than the mighty Wire is beyond me. There's no evidence to back it up.

For the record winning northern rails cup is top, gutted we won't be there this time. Blackpool>Wembley.

Batley is a better away trip than the tin can stadium ever will be.

he has got 1 thing right, you probably are set for the wooden spoon in the first season just like Crusaders and Catalans were, takes time to get used to the Super League and to build a side caperble to compete in Super League week in week out.

after the first season of transition though, you will have no problem competing for a play off place most seasons.

I find it amazing given how much money we will have to invest in the squad just how anybody can try and guess how we will go next year.

We have no idea how many of the first team will be retained, what new signings will be made, possibly even who the coach might be? There are so many variables at this stage that almost anything could be possible.

To say we will finish bottom of the league or close to the play-off positions is surely nonsense till we have part of a squad assembled?

all i will say is if one of our supporters was to graffiti 'Vikings' on a wall, they would most likely spell it correctly. unlike the fans of certain other teams who seem to have difficulty with such things.
