I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. I think there may be a lot more to this story than the club deciding he isn't good enough. I'd love to see what's happening inside the club at the moment because from the outside it's baffling.

So effectively the club believe that we have better players already or will bring in better players in Danny's position.

Just read on Twitter that he's signed for the Crusaders. Good move for both player and club.

So, the player everyone wanted to take to Super League will now be playing Championship 1 rugby.
