Very pleasant. I have a season ticket and if my ticket were to go open sale i.e for a Carling or F.A cup game, then it would be sold for £28. Obviously there are varying ticket prices at Old Trafford, but you can get on cheaper than £40. Great insult by the way. Really mature and very, very classy.

Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

It's stupid to try and belittle Widnes' world club challenge win and equally as stupid for you label Wire as "bottlers". League leaders and two x challenge cup wins in the past three years? Hardly bottlers is it? We got beaten by a better team on the night(Leeds).Surely the same would apply to St Helens as they too lost to Leeds. I fully understand you wanting to make the troll look a knob, and rightly so. But to try and belittle one of the most succesfull sides over the past few years, to get your point across is a bit daft mate.

When I go on the Wire website doing it, you might have a point. On here is a different story. If Wire trolls feel the need to dish it out here, then I will reciprocate.

The truth is, is that the league leaders shield is worthless and the Challenge Cup has nothing like the prestige it once had. I'm not saying that I wouldn't want Widnes to win either of them, but the be all and end all of Rugby League these days is winning the grand final. Until that is achieved, there can be no real basking in glory on this board.

I think you'll find that St Helens have won that 4 or 5 times now and, at least, make the final every year. Every year the Wire are tipped to win it and every year they don't even make the final. If that's not bottling it, what is?

We'll probably win it before your lot. Now that would be funny

You came on here trolling and for league games the rates are £40 and even mickey mouse cup is £30.It is only a rough estimate, as more expensive than the Superleague games. You have come on here for an argument and to be honest does it matter, as it still more expensive than rugby games. My point is I paid £40 and we should stop moaning about prices.Anyway I don't care what you think to be honest you knob.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: The Stadium Opener - Saints Vs Widnes : Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:43 pm
Just a side note, you can actually see on the Saints site that even though the price tag may seam steep for a friendly, ticket sales are going pretty well. You can't see the standing allocation but seated seams to be limited to the allocated areas only. (probably for the health and safety aspect of testing the stadium).

Given that people are also forking out for season tickets too. It's not going to be a bad turn out for a friendly

I do hope that was not a comment in regards to the cardboard sets, they were pretty sturdy for low budget.

Not trolling. Just correcting you, tickets where I sit sell for £28 for premier league games as well. Another nice insult and cheers for the abusive PM you sent me.

I get your point r.e the grand final. Last year was the only year we were tipped ton win it, not every year mate. We were helpful for 15 or more years before Tony Smith. But to finish top of the league and win two challenge cup suggests that we aren't bottlers. Good luck for the season anyway, great to have the derby and rivalry back.

Only two things ever need be said in response to wire forays into this most sacred of boards, Kerry Katona and pink building with giant eye . To exchange anymore words with the enemy whose name we do not speak would bring great dishonour upon all true Vikings and the next ten generations of their clan. :ROCKS:

Your correction is wrong as £40 cost me for a league game and not £28.Think I know what I paid.
