Halifax have shown as far as on the pitch is concerned that they are far more worthy of a sl place(before you start i know it makes fook all diff as far as a license bid)the only real avantage you have over them is your youth set up and a few hundred more fans through the gate!My original post was trying to say that you are shaping up very poorly on the pitch in preperation for your nailed on place in sl,and that when we went up we found things very hard even with the squad we had that cleaned up all the honours in one season!you have had 2 seasons and one northern rail cup,and finished behind several part time teams!and hardly look like grand final material the way you are shaping up for next year!!

Someone ban this idiot he is boring now.We are not interested in what Salford fans think, and i cant wait to get a licence and smash Salford.Anyway Halifax fans have been decent and know they need Youth set up.I hope come 2015 Fax join us in Superleague.

To add every side in this league is part time and at least 50% I reckon will be spending 90% plus of salary cap.

I think thats exactly why you are getting all these players caue you are worried.

i think you know if you put all these big srat signings on 2 or 3 year deals that the RFL wont kick you out as you wouldnt be able to fit these players on a championship quota and have to pay off the remianing years of there contracts.

seriously though.

Halifax are pretty much the front runners behind Widnes.

we just are NOT ready. if we went up i think we would be building foundations for it on Sand.

we have some promise for the future, upto standard stadium, we have the 100k from the grand final now.

Widnes are ready and i am not just saying to get a pat on the back from Widnes fans i genuinly believe that, sure they might get a battering the first season and finish bottom, Crusaders finished bottom when they first went in, as did Catalans and the only reason Salford didnt was because they had Crusaders who were worse in the first season.

we have potential next time round and we will be much more secure in the next franchise bid.

You came here with a contentious, badly researched, badly thought out post. People react to it. Then you whinge and cry about not being allowed to speak even though you've not been threatened in any way, your original post still remains and you've been given the same rights to speak as everyone else, i.e. you have the right to post your drivel, everyone else has the rights to point out it's err, drivel. That's not silencing you, that's just someone reacting to your nonsense.

Exactly, if we were promoted now we'd be stuck rock bottom for two years while we prepared and got completely ready to be serious contenders in Super League.
