From what most people had said pre season, Batley were expected to have a really good season and probably have their strongest squad for a number of years. I see their last NRC group game is against Fax, with no point from today's game and maybe no point in the fax game, I wonder if that would see them out of the cup?

Early doors yet - I wouldn't write any "top six" side off after one match. Don't forget - Fax are usually generous with the points in this competition
