I do understand about the on-field situation being less important than the rest of the criteria though. But that's not our fault. That is just the way it is. You can cry about it and stay where you are, or go with it and actually back the RFL into a corner. The other clubs moaned, while SOC went for it. In doing so, it did have a bit of a knock on effect with regards to on-field performance.

It’s a bit rich coming from a Leyther though. They've done love all for years now and are lucky not to have been relegated last year, while we've been in two cup finals.

The ironic thing is they are only upset because no-one is talking about them and they moan on and on about franchising because they aren't invoved, and why is that?

Lads, they're right. It should not be about the state of a clubs finances but how they performed on the pitch as to what division they find themselves in.

And that's why until Leigh have been demoted to Championship 1 as they deserve to I wont be paying them any attention.

They've already benefitted from backroom politics, now it's our turn.

I still doubt they would understand the irony.

I did notice one or two very sensible posts from Leythers on that thread. So they’re not all bad.

im used to the nonesensical, hypocritical crap. its the attiitude to toa that got me. a great servant of the game deserves more respect than that. especially one who retired through injury.

You are absolutely correct smurfster...
It's a shame that this guy was forced to stop playing through injury and I know from speaking to his sister in law that he literally explored every avenue to try to keep on playing. It really devastated him that he couldn't take part in last years NR Cup final.
It's a shame that some people revel in the fact that he isn't playing anymore. I wouldn't appreciate it if anyone on here posted similar comments about Neil Turley.

Leigh fans are as bad as those in SL tbh.

Look over their posts a lot think they have the right view on franchises and everyone else is wrong. Moan about everything yet offer no solutions and when one does they get shot down.

FFS there's a Halifax thread about what people are doing on franchise day and star girl and co have told them not to bother it's pointless.

They are an embarrassment!
