In fairness there is an absolute belting chippy in Fingerpost called 'chip munk', queue a mile long though all the time.
Just thought I'd throw that into the mix for you all. I think FF's is ok enough, just maybe goes over the top now and then. Bloody kopites.
It's difficult trying to figure out who you do actually support. One minute you support Widnes. Then you say you'll never support them again and you are going to support your home town team (St Helens).
You've spent most of the last few years lambasting expansion clubs on the VT, to an embarrassing level, and now you're bumming Harlequin fans on their board and claiming them to be your second team.
who do i support? the same team i have supported since i was 9 which then contained such players as measures, karalius, collier, owen, randall, myler. and through all the lean years and good years i have continued to support them. i had 1 fit of pique when i felt really let down by the board at the club but when i calmed down in the cool light of day, i continued to support the said team....
as for quins, i really admire the quality of the rugby they play and really they are not a new team are they? there is also an historical link between quins and widnes which like it or not exists. i enjoy watching good rugby, and at the moment quins are playing very good rugby so really to have them a my second team is a matter of personal choice. but believe me there is only 1 team i will ever support WTID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen him on the celts board doing pretty much the same, even going as far to admit that Widnes has "more than it's fair share of idiot fans".
One or two spring to mind (cough) but more than our fair share?
A lot of crap is automatically assumed about us, but I hardly think the problem is ours.
At the end of the day Fingerpost we all have a right to be a bit of a knob from time to time but I think you're abusing that right at the minute.
believe me dalton you cornered the market in being a knob a long long time ago!
as for idiot fans try reading some of the post's on TIW from time to time and you will see that we do have more than our fair share of them.
Jesus wept gents, what is with all the infighting? Shouldn't we all be sticking together, especially in the current predicament the club finds itself in. I know fingerpost is a loyal fan, and has watched widnes since long before some of us were a seed, but you don't have to justify it so often mate. And anywayyou didn't respond to my 'chippy' bit, I take it you aren't a fan?
I can't help but feel it is becoming far too 'cliquey' on here. We don't need that at all, leave that to the moon heads on TIW.

the chip munk isn't very good, the chippy was much better when it was ada hardy's
But the Fax players will go out too? I understand what you're saying, but it's only an issue because we aren't playing well.
If you ever bump into Gary Connolly, ask him about the Wigan team of the early 90's, what they did re:drinking was unreal but went out on a Sunday and blew the other team away, therefore John Monie didn't have an issue with it.
Correct. And when Ian Millward was coaching the pies he actively encouraged it with the full blessing of us Leythers.
It was great what it did for their performances too but sadly he,s not there now.
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

St Helens Play good rugby. Leeds play good rugby, Hull KR play good rugby. The team/club you now say play good rugby is a team/club you have lambasted and insulted for as long as I've read your posts on this board. This is why I cannot understand the complete about face. To then insult fellow Widnes fans by saying we have "more than it's fair share of idiot fans" is a bit rich, given that you were probably the worst offender. If you look around these boards, you'll see many other clubs have weekly threads on Quins/Celtic attendances where these clubs are lambasted. Do you see such threads on here? There are none. It is clear that Widnes fans are continually miss judged on these boards as bitter and unable to get over the licence decisions, which couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, given the circumstances, no other clubs fans could've behaved better. Only the very few 10 post numptys, and of course you, have bucked that trend. That is why I find it galling that you, a so called Widnes supporter, is helping to propagate this myth on these boards.
