You're not a big club. Deal with it.
Just remember that success you had in the late 80s-early 90s was down to one thing.....acquiring players you couldn't afford. And when your financial problems kicked in and you had to get rid of those players....your excuse for a club sunk without trace.
What have you done since? Absolutley nothing.
Widnes are a sad club with sad fans who are still living off beating a demotivated and jet lagged Canberra side in 1989.
You can tell how smalltime you've become because you were chanting "WE ARE SUPER LEAGUE,SAY WE ARE SUPER LEAGUE" after you'd got the news you'd finally blagged a place in the big league.
We've never had to chant that as we've ALWAYS been in Super League.
