I don't think for one minute that Widnes will be relegated. However, picture this scenario. In July, Halifax get a SL license and Wakefield and Cas are dumped out ....

Then, the Championship bottom 5 at the end of the season looks like this ...

7. Barrow
8. York
9. Widnes (going into SL)
10. Halifax (going into SL)
11. Toulouse (Exempt from relegation)

This scenario would mean that Barrow and York would be relegated into Championship 1 !!! I know there may well be yet another re-structure next season, but this is how ludicrous the Licensing system can be.

A very good player in a decent Barrow side and one player they were disappointed to lose. He has shown glimpses of his ability but this side is being poorly coached and his performances have suffered as a result.
