Under the current pointing system our ground scores the same as Cas and Salford! Thats the system as you say! Wakefield are the most resiliant club in SL history, do you really think we will go that easy!

If Wakey, Cas and Salford get there new stadiums, who exactly do you expect to replace??? Maybe Wrexham but defiantly none of us others.

Could any of you really say on hand on heart you want us, Salford and Cas to all get our grounds?? It's not in your interest for all of us to get our ground.

This is what the franchise system does, it creates bitterness between fans. At least it was done fair and square on the pitch no one could complain, well nobody except yourself

The only bitterness seems to be coming from a minority of bottom twitching fans who feel that their super league future is in doubt and who feel the need to come on here shouting abuse at us about how resilient they are in super league and how they'll not be removed from Super League so easily and how we've no right to assume that we deserve a chance. You keep up with that argument if it somehow makes you feel a little more comfortable with your club's precarious situation.

Agreed. One point for stable performances. I've never said that wasn't the case. You pay attention.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

The discussion was about stadia , unfortunatley most other points are ' subjective ' but as we keep stressing on here , we dont care , we [ Championship clubs ] are not in competition with Wakefield , we are in competition with each other , you are in competition with other SL clubs , but even that competition is skewed because of location , anyway Mr hell , I'm tired of explaining stuff as you dont seem able to grasp the concepts we are making , all the best , I'll give it a rest now

To break down Steve O'Connor's will. He reads these boards. He must be completely re-thinking his application after DeeHell's timely intervention into the Franchise debate.

I've displayed no bitterness what so ever, I've had much bitterness directed at me including name calling that you are now resorting to. :NAUGHTY: You know your winning the argument when people start calling instead of debating!

The truth is I have come out with what is an unpopular opinion amongst Widnes fans. Some people need to look up the word forum in a dictionary. :ASS:

That's it then, we're doooomed!

Ah well, at least we'll survive in this league. I'm not too sure poor old Wakey could anymore.

No, you're just being a crying @rse.

You obviously have no idea what is happening at Widnes, and what we have in place. It isn't just about the stadium.

I was coming out with a fair opinion regarding P/R and franchising. As a passionate supporter of P/R I was hoping someone would give a good counter argument. That sadly has not materialized and if anything has made me more convinced that my opinion is the strongest. :thumb:

And same could be said about you and Wakefield, but it didn't stop you voicing an opinion!
