Apparantly (not seen it myself) but Widnes have put adverts in the Echo with a £5 ticket offer for Saturday's game.

So for both Widnes fans who are a bit skint and new fans who might want to give us a try (without it costing the earth) good move all round really.

Excellent news, a good way to attract fans to an exciting game, it would be nice if we could get 5,000 in for that game and start the seaon with a bang.

Many thanks sir.Have you heard about the latest purge down at the joke stadium.Apparently you are not allowed to take a hip flask into the ground.So in these cold months when watching such entertaining fare and you are feeling the chill of the winter,you are not allowed to take a nip of Brandy or Whiskey in our customer friendly stadium. If you are caught with the said item then you run the risk of been ejected from the ground. Nazis Raus.

No, I hadn't heard that. I doubt the stewards would do anything even if you brought in a gallon keg of rum and passed it around the North Stand toasting the health of every single player ever to turn out for Widnes since 1873.
Let's face it, they bottled it that time the St Chads Year 7 kids decided to have a go back at the Huddersfield Inter City Firm.

I kid you not doc The whole set up down there is a total joke.If they carry on the way they are going down there, they will only drive punters away.With the way things are at he moment i would have thought they could do with all the fans they can get.
