Widnes v York NRC Game : Tue Apr 21, 2009 7:06 pm  

Hello All, a few of us coming over on the train for the NRC Quarter final match. Do we need to buy tickets in advance or do you have cash turnstiles at the Widnes Stadium where we can pay on the day? I know a lot of the newer stadiums DON'T have cash turnstiles anymore. Any good pubs near the stadium?

No cash turnstyles im afraid, were all ticketed up now. You should be able to purchase match tickets on the day from the stadium reception. You can then join in the banter with us north stand folk. Decent pub near the ground is the Albion and we have a chippy on the same road with a Mcdonalds also a 2 minute walk from the ground. If you get in Widnes early enough i would advise weatherspoons in town for a cheap drink and some grub. Spoons is a 5 minute taxi ride from the ground or a 20 minute walk.
