It looks like Thompson is heading to Quins for a month if you believe TIW and that has sparked debate regards Nanyn coming back.


Initially i thought great stuff, a powerful centre who can kick goals for fun but after tonight i got thinking. If we do manage to keep Penny longer than a month he needs a good defensive centre who can create space and pass him the ball neither of which nanyn is really good at. So the question i ask you would be should we go for him or would you look at a reserve centre who can create space and pass a ball, Kohe Love is the ideal man but injuries are catching up with him. Tyrer is also back at Celtic.

Just kidding.
I see your point re: Nanyn but purely for is point scoring I'd have him back. Don't forget, he scored a bag full of tries and isn't just a kicker. It would be a massive attacking centre/wing partnership.

don't you need 2 to have a partnership, something penny may find out if nanyn re-appears, not getting the ball and no cover in defence - mind you he'd at least be used to it with king giving the same service at the wire.

sam thompson is not good enough,i'll be glad to see him go if it means we can bring better players in. quins must see something we missed.

Nanyn sorted his defence in the last season he was with us, although it isn't as aggresive as Toa's but that is only good when u are actually on the pitch.
