Question re your ground : Tue Jun 02, 2009 7:24 pm
Hi,

Can anyone tell me which stands are in the shade on an afternoon match ?

As you know we play your good friends, W********n in the cup at your ground and I want to avoid having to hold my hand in front of my eyes for 3 hours if I can.

Thanks.

South Stand deffo. Don't forget your balaclava and scarf, it cold in there even in weather like todays!!

West Stand may be pretty well shaded especially towards the back of the stand. East Stand may be in sun but back few rows may be OK for you.

Oh aye, I almost forgot, if are going into the South Stand, phone in advance, they may be able to get some prawn pies in for you lot when you come down  .

East Stand is allocated to Wire, but I've never known the sun to be in the eyes of those in the West Stand in visits of years gone by, though maybe the sun was shaded by the smog?

I'm just glad that our football pitch isn't getting messed up by a rugby game.
