Personally, i think it's a great literaric opening post. It's a classic juxtoposition - enticing the reader with a thread title which promises much but delivered nothing. On opening the said thread there is a vacuum of content revealed by the OP's slamdunk - "Actually sack it, nobodys around tonight!".
