Im afraid you have a complete idiot in your ranks posting on the Barrow forum. The league will be a different story. You were the better team yesterday and completed your sets far better than us. I don't want to harp on and sound bitter because I am not BUT the idiot who posted this drivel should realise that WITHOUT your SUPER LEAGUE LOANS you would still all be on here posting about how poor your team are. Please remember that Barrow had 4 or 5 players carrying injuries ( Ned Catic off the field - entirely his fault by the way) & Jamie Rooney missing. They would have made a massive difference to our go forward.

Im under no dissolutions about Yesterdays game - Widnes were the better side and played very well. Once Barrow have all players available then we will be an entirely different animal.

Once again Congratulations on your win and Im sure you enjoyed your day

Sorry I got incredibly bored after reading the drivel in bold :SLEEPY: and if you don't like what our numpty minority are writing, don't rise to it. Every club has them.

Who should we sign then? teams loan and sign players, its what you have to do to progress as a club. If you hadn't have signed the players that you have, you wouldn't have got to the final. How about sending Jamie Rooney back to superleague.

but thats different though isnt it?

4 loan players don't make a side. Those 4 loan players complemented a side that's been improving week on week. 1-17 earned that win today and coach Cullen's new regime has also made a massive difference. We've always had the players, now we've got the coach who can bring out the best in them. That was proven yesterday.

Im not saying or knocking anything your club has done mate. Im knocking the "Matt Calland" type post from one of your supporters. You are entirely correct that you can and should be signing (or loaning) decent players.

Like I said you were the best team yesterday and fully deserved your win.

Rooney's only played one game for you!

I disagree about the loan players, Cullen has changed how was play and our main pivot players are Thackeray, Webster, Smith and then Duffy when he comes on, all our own players.

Barrow competed yesterday but never looked like they were going to win, having watched the game back I actually think we played alot better up at Fax for the semi final. Well done to Barrow in getting there, it was a great achievement having played NL2 rugby last year. I was disappointed for your players that your fans didn't stay behind the goal to clap them off, they definitely deserved it.

I would like to echo this, brilliant achievement for Barrow. To reach the NRC final sitting second in the league having played NL2 last year is excellent. Was also a great following from your fans, loud and proud. Had some good banter with the raiders fans before the match!

Good luck to Barrow for the rest of the season.

Loan signings can be a gamble.... credit should be given to Cullen for doing so.

Pickersgill wasnt getting any game time at Wire and Penny was quite clearly having his confidence battered by a moronic Jimmy lowes and even thicker fans.....

fortunatley both have done well by the sounds of things and I'm sure Cullen will be pestering the widnes owner to buy them outright. then what would be your excuse then....
