Just been watching a very old dvd a mate of mine copied for me of Widnes V fax at Shedingley 1987 cc semi. Just as teams about to Kick off, a black dog (possibly a labrador) legging it onto the field, Ray French coming out with an absolute belter 'why is there a dog on the pitch every time I come to Leeds, why would anyone want to bring a dog to a game of rugby league'.

Sorry to drag up the past, but anyone remember this? Had me in stitches last night.

There was when we played Wigan away in 2003. Just after half-time she ran onto the pitch stark naked.

Defo one on the pitch in 2007. It was the home game against Rochdale. I remember watching it back on the Code 13 programme on Channel M. It ran from the North Stand to the South where Danny Lima was warming up.

I'm sure when we were in the NFP there were two home games back to back in which the same dog got onto the pitch.

There was when we played Wigan away in 2003. Just after half-time she ran onto the pitch stark naked.

Remember it well.. it was a challenge cup tie and we were well in the lead at half time.
I think we must have had a few players who had phobias of naked dogs cause the way we played in the second half it seemed half of our team had run an hid in the changeing rooms.
Incedently was also the day before i met my GF who I'm marrying next summer

She was from Wigan. You know what they're like in the Wigan/Leigh area. Someone probably told here there was a picket line against strippers and she couldn't wait to cross it.
