What a performance. For the full 80 we punished Whitehaven big time. Up there with the Halifax and NR final games. Widnes when we're at full strength are unstoppable especially at home and a performance like that is just what we needed to finish the league campaign with. Hopefully we'll be able to pick up where we left off with a full strength side in the play offs.

There were a couple of emotional players there at the end, lets hope they carry on giving their all until they depart. What a team and what a season this has been.

Fantastic performance for which Whitehaven had no answer, Doran had a stormer as did Kavanagh and Fletcher. And thats without Grayshon and Toa, if we play like that in the play offs i doubt anyone will stop us.

Shame about the inbred whitehaven fans, the idiot who lobbed a bottle on the pitch should have been threw out earlier. Also had a lad with a Warrington shirt on near me cheering for Whitehaven and they both laughed at the attendance of 3,300 when it was announced errrmmm hello Whitehaven what is your average. The wire scum was inches away from getting a verbal and then a smack.

Great performance spoiled by idiotic Whitehaven fans.

was a fantastic night great performance from 1-17. However with regards to vikingmans comment about idiotic whitehaven fans there was only a select few of them (particularly the one who through the bottle) who were idiots, the rest of them were very pleasent and stayed to the end!.

It's to be expected. Every time we've been to Whitehaven 1 or 2 of the natives have got aggressive with me. It is however a select few and I wish to christ our away game with them away next year isn't on telly as games against them are always tasty and I always love the trip to to 'haven.

Not the ones near me, one 'butch' lady with a tash better than Tom Selleck and had a gob the size of the Mersey. Her idiotic dad/brother and they had the wire fan next to them. I have never come across such foul idiots. The guy who through the bottle was a muppet and some of the language was way over the top.

They deserved the spanking they got.

And with me, i remember stood behind the sticks once when a father and son near enough offered me a fight, it was alsmost laughable as they were surrounded by hundreds of Widnes fans. Inbred runs riot around them parts.

Aye, I was pushed in the back by some ginger fine fellow who was frothing at the mouth and shaking with anger for cheering Mick Nanyn and another time squared up to by some silver fox in his 50s for applauding a referee's decision. Their idiots seem to go way beyond any other clubs idiots, though let's not let it over shadow a masterclass of a performance.

"We were bad but laughton was worse. Almost every try they scored first half was on the back of laughton marching them down the pitch. They're fans are absolute a holes- swearing at kids and the like. You'd think they'd won the league at the end. Lets hope we get them back at the recre in the playoffs and smash the plastic scouse gets."[/b]

AN excellent performance all the better for the fact it was my 6 year-old nephew's first ever match so he was handsomely rewarded by our lads with a great win.

Nice one lads!
