I know we are the most disliked team in our league, but i feel halifax are close now?Especially with comments by their chairman and coach been arrogant?Country mile and best team in the league.I prefer leigh and barrow anyday over halifax.I actually like barrow fans when met them at the games.But when we beat halifax in the semi, none congratulated my team.This league will be tight and i think every team can beat each other.I am keeping quiet about my team, and i am confident though, but not arrogant. Got any good songs we can sing such as win by a country mile.

the haven fans are a bunch of moaners they always seem to have a problem with the ref unless they have hammerd you

What a load of utter tosh.

I personally dont think that you are the most disliked team in our league, I think you probably have the label of the team we most want to beat, as others believe that you are the most likely to achieve a franchise in 2012.

As far as arrogant chairmen are to go by, what about Des at Barrow. There is no arrogance in Graham Clay saying that he is happy to take on a full time role at Halifax as they have the best team and the best coaching staff in the league, good god man I am sure that your chairman feels the same about Widnes, as does Des and probably most other chairman.

Where the problem lies is that you seem to take to heart the ramblings of the few who post on these boards, and they are a few in relation to the numbers who turn up at your games and ours, as not everyone feels the same way that they do. I am sure you will find that most fans are passionate about the game and wish all other fans / teams well, except for when they are playing their own team.

As a Halifax fan I wish Widnes all the luck in the world and really hope that you beat every other team in the league, except us. I hope that you finish second in the league and are the loosing finalist in both the Choo Choo cup and the grand final.

But then again I am sure that you wish the same on us.

Cant wait for next season.

Great sets of fans in this league next year, added to by Keighley and hopefully Dewsbury can muster some away support.

Woah.. easy there SB..
I wouldn't say Fax or Barrow are particularly worthy of a hated tag. In my eyes they are simply like small children who are easily excitable and with good reason. However when there was a bit of trouble they jumped on the other side of the seesaw and started to moan (and in some cases call for the coaches head!!!) Laughable really.
They both had good seasons last year and will undoubtedly have good seasons this year too. In both cases they played some good rugby too.

When it comes to us we are still the team that everyone wants to beat. The media still portray us a big team in a little pond and the other teams love to try and knock us of our perch. Despite us being in this league for a good couple of years now and before that an even longer spell there is a groundswell of support for us to be lifted out of it. Expect more vitriol the closer we get to 2011 announcement day.

I do hate Celtic though... not so much the fans but more the people that run the club, the RFL's attitude towards them that sort of thing.

Good summary mate.Spanish bob easy tiger.I am only asking as some fans come on slagging off especially 1987 from fax.You have some good fans like faxtastic who is honest and fair in his opinions.1987 has come on betting we wont get in the top 6.Such arrogance winds me up but i laugh as not true, i am confident top 4.This league is competitive due to a salary cap.

I used to feel the same way until I scouted their other board. There are at least 2,000 mentions of us and it's all bad. Even now. Fair to say I don't like them or their fans.

As for us, despite the thread I started the other day (that was just to get a convo going) we're not the most hated in this league. It will probably end up being whitehaven again.
