Quite a tough group that. The Barrow game is a big one for this round of the competition.

The Batley game is the must win game of the group IMO. No disrespect, to the other teams but, I would think we should see off Gateshead and Swinton, so if we beat Batley, the Barrow game becomes less important.

Mind you, having said that, if we can beat, Barrow 1) it would give us confidence going into the league campaign and 2) It would make it more difficult for Barrow to go through. Not to mention the fact that it might encourage a few more fans through the gate and also send a message to the rest of the clubs in the division.

Swinton away could be a potential banana skin. They have some quality players there now. You should still have too much for them though.

3rd game Halifax home - sky

We dont have a good friday game though

and play back to back away sky games to barrow and leigh in may

So we get them during the main holiday season when prices are bumped up, again. Last time I missed this fixture because I was on Holiday in Lindos and next year I’ll miss it because I’ll be in Mexico. I’d love a weekend in Toulouse, with a bit of rugby thrown in. A nice spring weekend in Toulouse would have been lovely.

That sucks, Whatever happened to the traditional derby fixtures on Good Friday and Easter Monday? poor gates for all the big games too with them being on sky.

It is a little silly when a 4000+ gate has been lost at Leigh or Widnes.


I feel Leigh have just been pencilled in against Gatesheads fixtures, so c'est la vie!
