You seem suicidal because McNamara hasn't picked your precious Mickey Mac, who's better than Roby, and Darryl 'Meninga' Goulding who makes Jamie Lyon look like an amateur.
right im going to post a rant on that thread now. whats all this bullcrap about the avergae attendance criteria only just being 'made up' to suit us, The Mighty Vikings!!!! funny, because i was aware of it from day one. unlike wakefield, quins, crusaders, who obviously never ever apply 'artistic liscence' to their own attendance figures of course. not exactly the same subject i know, but its still attendance related. any time you see these teams play at home (quins for example), with a scattering of fans on only one side of the stadium, in a stand that hold smaybe 5 thousand max, they feed us the official attendance of 3000ish. balls! that one stand is never ever even half full. not even close. nothing personally against wakefield, the team, the town, or the lovely people, but they obviously do this also. one terraced end and on small terraced side, plus one mostly empty seated stand and they come up with figures of several thousand. i just dont believe it.

Word of warning smurf, you can go mad on there trying to convince the one eyed, know it all holier than thou fans of anything. They don't think a team is worth anything unless they are in the top four or in Adis Ababa, or, funnily enough, if they support them which is oh so different and not biased at all.
ANY criteria about average attendances will be made to suit us, as we have the best average attendances! You could say the same for just about all the other criteria except current league position!

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

That being when ? , just interested to know , and also how did you come by this knowledge , and last but not least , did you know about the million turnover as well , ditto when and how ?

im not even going to try. its obvious certain teams are shitting it as zero hour draws near. all a load of sour grapes and hot air me thinks. i did post a big rant a few days ago when many people were making out our youth policy is basically to loan young lads from wigan. also implying that we only have money because SOC has somehow invested millions above and beyond what he paid for the club, and wiping out the old companies debts. none of which is true, as the club works within its budget as determined by turnover. not handouts from the boss man. the only responses i got were sarcastic digs at a few typos, nobody questoined the content, so i take it i put a lot of things straight.

to be honest, i cant remember the exact source and date. maybe i just read further than most. thats why i dont understand the suddne uproar over certain criteria. ive just been aware that these were criteria for at least a year. i remember several refrences in issues of league express, several mentions on boots n all. even SOC'S column in our match day programs mentioned these criteria at least once in the past several months.

That's were you heard them , no mention in the press , no mention on B and A , no mention in any other clubs programme or the ' game on ' , conspiracy theory anyone
1 st public mention of the 2,500 was from the Fax Chairman about 2/3 months ago , as for the million turnover , last few days
So it would seem that it was commonish knowledge around Widnes , but not elsewhere
As I said on a different thread , at least it saves Fax and Barrow some cash in putting an application together , some clubs spent a small fortune last time including yours , in fact it was the Widnes club that were most angry about that particular part of the process because it was something totally separate from your application which made the difference
All the best , enjoy your last season with us mere mortals before you take on the ' GODS '
