So relieved we have released Nanyn then, if that will now save us from going into administration. Phew! By the way did not realise that Widnes went into administration recently. Tell me more.

Oh, I have just found out you went into administration in 2007. By the way, Nash left you for Salford before that season. Nanyn did play for you however. Remember, it was that good year you had when you got to the grand final, with the likes of Grix, Doran, Blanch, Moran etc.

Not at all. You are getting the wrong end of the stick mate. If you read the posts, I mentioned Leigh's relegation season and you getting to the grand final in 2007. I genuinely thought you had a good team that year. I was just aware you were getting your wires crossed regarding Nash. Easy mistake to make mate. No need to be paranoid however and it was you who brought up your administration, not me . Not everyone is out to get you you know. It is easy to finish near the bottom of this league as Leigh found. With it being so competitive and only 11 teams in it, there is obviously not much between the relative success of a top six place and a relegation spot. It is crazy.

If you listen to all Leigh fans you would think they had spent more than one season in SL and are the biggest team outside SL and that every player wants to sign for them.

I sincerely hope you are not relegated Pepe. My point is, as we are all too aware of at Leigh, it is so easy to end up in the bottom spots of this league without careful recruitment. In 2007 you signed some great talent. Admittedly, it may have contributed to you going bust, but I really enjoyed watching Widnes that season until you imploded near the end and Cas did you. I know that everything is now geared towards franchising, but surely, in your heart of hearts you would love to see Widnes sign some real talent and maybe win this league next year. I know that as a Leigh fan, I would love to see us have the success that Fev have enjoyed on the field this year. Surely, just because it is inevitable that you will not be in this league after next year, it does not mean you do not want to or you cannot go all out to win it next year. You come across as a really decent and loyal fan. Please tell me you are still gutted when Widnes get thrashed or they sign a very ordinary player. Otherwise, I am beginning to despair. Please reassure me.
