- The tragic suicide of Terry Newton (RIP)
- Fire and evacuation of west stand at HJ (Caused by a fan?)
- Poor Fax fan in hospital in a coma (caused by 'fans'?)

Unfortunately a day that began with such optimism could turn out to be one of the darkest day's of modern RL. Let's hope for some positive news this week and hoping that the Halifax fan makes a full and speedy recovery!

Aye, what a pity that a couple of idiots, from both teams, have spoilt what should have been a great day for all involved, and tarnished the reputation of their fellow fans and the game as a whole.

Let’s hope that Halifax lad makes a speedy recovery and is none the worse for his experience.

To associate the evacuation of that stand with a fan laying in a coma and a dead person isn't quite right, imo.

It was more if it was an arson attack and putting things together. Have expressed my sympathies and best wishes for Terry Newton and the Halifax fan elsewhere aswell.

What’s your point?

They are associated by virtue of the fact that they are both potentially deadly criminal acts committed by - so-called - fans on the same day, at the same game and at the same stadium.

its touch and go with the halifax lad he had another op early hours of this morning and the staff at the hospital are keeping a eye on him 24/7 hope he pulls through

Keep us updated on how he is mate.I will keep my fingers crossed he pulls through. No need for a gang to go too far on a person.

having been on the fev bored on total rl his mate who has known him for 20 year has said that the next 24/48 hours are critical to whether he survives or not hope they catch who ever did this

The attack on the Halifax fan has made me feel sick this week, I hope whoever did it gets locked away for life, absolute scum of the earth.

I hope that he pulls through.
