Here is an interesting read. A local Barrow newspaper trotting out the same old nonsense, full of negativity about us, full of lies, this is going to get worse before it gets better. I am giggling about the "haven't made a final for many years". Talk about over exaggeration. He gets paid for this.

Does he really think Barrow would prosper for 3 years locked in SL? Would Craven Park have even met the minimum standards, for SL entry, had there been P&R in place last season?

Definitely not. Teams have been denied with better grounds before now.

They're not even making the most of what they've got. They could clean it up, give it a lick of paint, make it look more respectful, install some proper toilets so you weren't urinating against a brick wall and looking out into the kfc across the road because there are bricks missing.

It's a shame because the staff seemed friendly, but they sure as hell need something better than that shed for SL.

i will refrain from metaphorically kicking this idiots head in. far more misinformed crap than i can bring myself to question. and this guy is apparently a 'journalist' with whom? a bloody gossip magazine or The Sun? get your facts right mate, i reckon that must be the first thing that comes up in most journalism courses.

Well played Flash for making a comment below the article.We got to the Grand final two years in a row losing to HKR and Castleford.Barrow won it last year but what have they done before that? They did not even get to the Grand Final this year at least we got to a final.To be honest i just laugh now, and wait for the reactions when we get the licence.

If/when we are awarded a licence next year I will allow myself a little smug smile of satisfaction at the thought of some fans and reporters blood pressure going off the richter scale.

Erm,tough one this,but how about a strong fan base,financial stability,academy etc.

Priceless. You have to feel sorry for the guy though being such an ugly ginger nice person, no wonder he's bitter. I'd be bitter too if I looked like him.
