It is. I was speaking to someone at the club yesterday when renewing my season ticket and was told the same. Whether the deal comes off those is another matter, though I'm sure the club will do everything they can to secure them.

Ben is a beast and marsh is a terrific centre, if Gannon stays we would then be near complete with the exception of a good experienced half back.

Competition in the backs if Stefan comes to Widnes.Be interesting where he plays as i was happy with Tyrer and Ropati as the centres.But we have to cover injuries and i believe Tyrer has played on the wing.Ben Davies,Hecky,Pickers,and possibly sign another prop if Gannon does not resign.

Marsh or Danny Craven at fullback.Craven played really well last year at fullback, but we cant put too much pressure on a young lad.I hope to see Alex Brown,Grant Gore,and Alex Gerrard given a opportunity next year.

Marsh would have to be a first choice centre if he comes here,he's a different class than Tyrer.If that's his position then thats where he should play.Fed up of seeing second rows at prop,stand offs at scrum half and three quarters at full back, down here.

marsh or ropati at fullback i reckon but saying that tyrer would play anywere his team needs him and would just get on with it hes proved that at saints salford and celtic but he suits left centre the most by far plus isnt marsh a right centre?

Is there any point in signing them unless they are permanent? And surely if we are it should be on our terms - which of course we know it won't be cos they are not our players. We all know what happened with the dual thingy this season and how farcical that ended up being.

We need to dominate next season and having these 2 on board will go some way to doing that. A season long loan deal in affect means they're Widnes players for the year. No messing about with them being recalled unless Wigan have some sort of complete disaster.

Ben has the below in front of him next year so chances will be very limited

If we do manage to get them on season long loans then that will be a fantastic piece of business by the club.
