There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair

Please tell me that you are not serious and that you’re just winding up the Fax fans?

Doran, fair enough, but Jim Gannon? :SNOOTY:

I read that in the voice of the old bloke on futurama.

And it was very appropriate.

He does give away a huge amount peps, i remember the Fax game away towards the end of the year when he gave about 5 in a row away (match fixing perhaps  )

As much as he's a work horse, i feel that he can be replaced comfortably.

Just my opinion of course.

He’s bound to give a few penalties away, given that his role in the side is dealing with other teams psychos but, over all, his discipline is excellent. Believe you me, getting rid of JG to a rival club is certainly nothing to cheer about.

As it stands, our pack will get loved up every week. Next seasons pack is now even weaker than it was last season, and it wasn’t strong then. We now need a good replacement for Jim – preferably two. That may not be as easy as it sounds.

I dont think it's as bad as that though Pepe, for starters Pickersgill will be back and raring to go after spending the majority of last year out. Heckenberg was our best prop towards the back end of the season. Then Gaz Haggerty (who has signed a new deal) will be back for the start of the league games and thats without mentioning Dave Houghton or Anthony Mullally. No doubt we need to replace Jimbo and im confident Ben Davies will be back.

An experienced second rower to come in and were done, another half back if it was my wish but hey ho.

Keep the faith Pepe.

We'll have a cracking squad for the start of next year.

In my opinion Jim Gannon is a steady eddie, and not a busting forward. He will do ok at Fax, but is a year older and slower.Just what Fax need. Heckenberg,Pickers, and Haggerty are better than Gannon now.Hopefully now room for Ben Davies for a season.Alex Gerrard the prop in the u18s looks a talent.

I think the main problem is that both Heckenburg and Haggerty can in no way be relied upon with their injury record. There seemed to be doubts from the Quins fans as to whether we get any games out of Heckenburg given his continual shoulder injuries.

I quite liked Gannon, I just didn't see anything about him back in 2008 but last year and this he did carry the pack at times. IMO we'd have seen even better performances from Jim if he would have had a better pack around him. Like Pepe, I think we need 1 if not 2 big experienced props if we are to compete next year.
