I'll be honest... that suits me perfectly fine. It's nice to know that he's still involved with RL and not with some of our local rivals that are adverse to washing.

Thanks for everything Smiffy. You were an awesome captain, a terrific clubman and deserved better in the end!

Swinton have majorly underachieved in the past 4 or 5 seasons, perhaps with Smithy and McCormack in charge they will now start moving upwards.

Is Watson still there too? If so that is a decent squad.
Just looking through there are quite a few familiar names there.

Danny Heaton, Andy Isherwood, Bruce Johnson, Little Gary Hulse.

I think Isherwood has gone to Oldham, if they signed Doran they would have a cracking little squad for next year (certainly in the pack anyhow)

On a seperate note i was surprised to see Liam Higgins (ex cas) sign for Sheffield today, he'll be very good at this level.

Glad Mark got a club, no disrespects to Swinton, but I did think he would still be in the 2nd tier.

I think Swinton have made a great signing and will probably smash their league next year with S Mac being there also.
