In that season you finished 11th out of 15 teams but got relegated! in a program your then chaiman jim mills said that you would be in Super League! what happend

You called, and that aint me - very poor attempt.

I would go with the legal challenge from the SL club losing a franchise resulting in the process being delayed to 2014 if anything, or even the 'Vikingman sex scandal kills SL dream' allegations.

At the risk of stating the obvious to my fellow Widnes fans, just explain to Mr Frisk.

At 1st we were out, then we were in and then we were out again.

Maurice said he would make sure we were in, this lead to big Jim announcing over the tannoy at a home game that we were in. It was then decided that Maurice didn't actually have the power to guarantee us a place in SL and in the end our poor league form cost us the place in SL. We lost our last 7 league games and correct me if I'm wrong but had we finished higher up, we would have been in SL. Its often said that as we had been told we were in SL, we didn't have anything to play for and our form suffered as a result. By the time we had been told league placing was going to matter, it was too late.

In 1994 Harlequins were on the cusp of great things and the game in the capital was going to rocket, helped by the impending revolutionary introduction of Paris St Germain two years henceforth.

I myself was going to rocket to 6ft 4" helped by a batch of kushty growth hormone pills flown in from Rangoon.

I am still 5ft 2", Harlequins are still on the cusp and Paris is a distant memory.
