I am starting to lose interest in the Crusaders now.They came into the elite too soon with no foundations.To be a success you need local league teams and playing regular in schools.Should have stayed in Championship 1 for 5 or 6 yrs and build gradual to expand.

Does anyone remember The Tripods - a sci-fi series from the eighties? The population got "capped" by aliens when they reached 13 years. The "cap" made you conform to everything the aliens wanted. I think the RFL are planning to roll these "caps" out across the North over the next three years.

Perhaps it would have been a good idea if the RFL had insisted on a cash bond up front of say,half a million pounds,before awarding the 3 year licence.Nah,daft idea that.
