Looking at the NRC launch i see Dave Allen went along representing Widnes so i assume they will be looking to him to captain the side again, nice to see a Widnes lad leading his home town club. Im also led to believe he's been doing loads extra this off season to get himself in top shape.

Happy enough with that. I thought his performances slipped a little when it was given to him, but he also seemed to pick up an injury at the same time so that couldn't have helped.

As you said VM. Nice to see a local lad being given the armband.
