Feeling very confident but still have the odd niggling doubt about the RFL. The weight of support behind the bid is fantastic from fans of other clubs and the media.

I'm going to be in Rome on the day itself so I'm hoping to be pouring il vino down my neck a bit later on in a top mood!!!

He backed our bid last time. I remember him being quite annoyed at the decision to exclude us too.

Yes i saw the bid program last time and had Scully,jason Robinson,sinfield and jamie peacock supporting our bid.Think where more but that was a few i remembered.

This is like waiting for christmas when you are 8.

I can't wait for this. Win the bid and it's the best thing ever, miss out and it's the biggest travesty. I cannot wait.

Still, go on scully! Always liked him even if he was occasionally a cheap shot merchant.

Gary Schofield spoke up on our behalf last time and was quite scathing of the RFL at the outcome. Strangely he's not been as vocal for us this time round when most people think we've got a stronger case.
