1min 08 sec - some Tekken / street fighter moves going on there. 2mins in - wtf - slows down time and hands in pockets. Bet it would have hurt if he'd have French Connection UK'd it tho.
They had nothing like that when I was a kid. Good to see Widnes getting all these facilities. New shopping area, cinema and ice rink on the way. Good stadium, famous MMA gym and now what looks like to me like pretty good gym facility. I know Widnes has had pretty poor rep for a long time, but things have changed a lot in quite a short period of time.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
"For Michael Jackson to come over to this country, after what's all gone on (and I think we all know what I'm talking about here), to dress in a white robe, thinking he's the messiah. Who does he think he is, Me???" -------------- BEWARE: The big wheel is always turning.

I can think of three Co-Ops just off the top of my head. Hough green, Chestnut Lodge and Halebank.
You're right Chris. I've never really come to terms with Halebank being part of Widnes. It's sort of... well 'each to their own'. But that's just me being an ignorant nice bloke.

It's kind of Liverpudlian but let's not sign away Widnes that easily. We should be after aggressive expansion. We're already getting our claws into penketh, or little widnes as it's known, next up Hale?
They'll be begging to join us before you know it. Begging.

Well us Widnesians are certainly represented in Hollywood. Paul Gerrard (Widnes born, bred and educated) is a Hollywood conceptual artist. He has created all of the aliens and spaceships in a movie about to be released called “Battle: Los Angeles”, which is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and starring Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodrigues.
He’s also starting work on a movie called “Paradise Lost” to be directed by Alex Proyas, of “The Crew” and “Dark City” fame, as well as another Liebesman film called “Wrath Of The Titans”.

The Widnii have had their claws into Penketh for many a year especially with such legends as Tony Myler and Ritchie Eyres living here. I often see Phil Mackenzie popping round to Tony's to go out for a game of golf and Toa Balboa has been seen in the area on a number of occassions!
