Must say - he is certainly a player who I think would go well in SL.

Do you? Without wishing for this comment to bite me on the backside, Thackeray has gone 'missing' far too often when the going gets tough when I've seen him. Maybe he's improved over the pre-season but he always seem to be more of a support player than a playmaker.

I think the Widnes fans have seen him play more than you mate.Under Betts he seems to be improving with distribution, and kicking game.If Widnes get a Superleague licence, i think he would partner with Lockyer or Thurston very well.

You've pretty much agreed with me there though mate by mentioning how much he has improved under Betts. And I saw Widnes about 6 times last season in the flesh and on TV so it's hardly based on his 160 minutes of being owned against Leigh.

I know matey. So your second team is Widnes then buddy, if been to that many games.Thackeray is a great back up player and finds gaps well.Glad he is a Widnes player.Hopefully Widnes and Leigh are in the top 2 and dominate this year.

We have a leyther on the Widnes site who posts regular.I think their is a few traitors in Leigh who want to be on the dark side. Serious goodluck for the season, except when play Widnes and hope your at the Stobarts a few times again.
