Sounds excellent. Not only will it give the current players a boost having purpose built training facilities it will also go some way to enticing new players to join the club and further shows the commitment that SOC has to Widnes RLFC and sport within the town.
We are such a long way from where we where in October 2007 it is unreal!!

Seems like it will benefit junior teams massively in the area, and I would assume service area/schloarship squads will have the benefit of training here. Very good news.

I agree, it will certainly aid player recruitment.

It will benefit the town massively and should also improve links between the Vikings and the amateur clubs in the town something which isn't great at the minute.
